Canvases can be stretched on a variety wood stretcher thicknesses. The depth of the stretcher frame you choose depends on the effect you want to create and the size of the artwork.
We can then frame the piece in either a float frame (showing the whole canvas) or in a regular cap frame which overlaps approximately 1/8” of the canvas.
If you choose not to frame the artwork, we can “gallery wrap” and staple the artwork on the back of the stretcher to show the sides. For this effect a deeper stretcher is needed.
